The Bethel Park High School Blackhawk Marching Band has a long standing tradition of marching and musical excellence. We pattern ourselves after the "Big Ten" traditional style of marching and work to present a combination of marching and music that together, along with our Majorette and Bethette routines, give our audiences a memorable performance. Over the past thirty years, the Bethel Park Marching Band has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. The band has received numerous "superior" ratings in music festivals, most recently in Orlando, Florida, where we were also featured at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom during their "Share A Dream Come True" parade. In addition, we have performed for Pittsburgh Steelers' audiences, many local parades, and have appeared with Marvin Hamlisch and the Pittsburgh Symphony Pops Orchestra at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as part of their subscription series.
